Description:Adaptado de Mariquita Cochinita (autor y editor anónimo).
Using a story about a girl named Marikita, this book explains how parasites are transmitted and cause diseases, and what to do to prevent them, such as using latrines and washing hands in boiled water. Adapted from "Mariquita Cochinita." For each page, the Spanish version is first, followed by the vernacular translation and illustration. By doing this, the developers hoped that the book could also serve as a transition reader for youths and adults who can read Spanish.
