Title:Some constrastive features of Southern Barasano and Spanish
Abstract:from introduction: "This paper has a dual purpose: 1) to make a contrastive study of the segmental phonemes of Southern Barasano and Spanish as the basis for determining possible areas of language interference that the S. Barasano speaker will have in perceiving and producing Spanish and 2) to compare the antithetical structures of S. Barasano and Spanish in order to highlight the differences in the two languages in regard to relationships of the parts to the whole."
