| An audio recording of eighteen minutes and ten seconds, transcribed, parsed, glossed and translated into Spanish and English in which Catalina Calazacón tells the story of Isansowe, an evil entity who kills and sucks the blood of people and often takes human form. In this story he kills a Tsachi man and then takes his form and returns to the Tsachi’s wife, imitating her husband. The woman realizes what has happened and flees for aid to the “ponela”. They are able to kill the Isansowe but it is too late to save the wife. This story explains the source for blood-sucking insects. | ||
