Description:Ramiro tells the story about a large group of people going barbasco root fishing. Ramiro, Yolanda, Beatriz and Ángel are sharing some soup and cassave bread. In the story, the fishers stay out late and hear the sound of the wind. It is not the wind, but it is wind people. They atack the fishers and suck out their eyes. If the fishers would have burned chilli this would not have happened. Especially the Spanish translation needs thourough revision.
Ramiro tells the story to his sister Yolanda, his sister in law Beatriz, and his youngest brother Ángel. Martine filmed the story telling and Ramiro transcribed it.
Martine started working with the Ecuadorian Siona in June 2010 when she was a PhD student.
