Description:Alicia is grinding corn and explaining that nowadays people don't know how to do this anymore. She also sings the song that the ancestors used to sing while grinding corn.
Alicia was filmed by Martine. Herberina, a daughter of Alicia, transcribed the recording.
Alicia is maried to Simon Piaguaje and is mother and grandmother to many of the speakers and transcribers in this project. She is the driving force behind the documentation project on the Aguarico and Eno rivers.
Martine started working with the Ecuadorian Siona in June 2010 when she was a PhD student.
