Title:English-Chinese Film Translation in China
Abstract:Film translation in China has developed quickly. This article discusses the origin and nature of film, the features of film language, and the two main forms of film translation in China: dubbing and subtitling. The article then gives an overview of the history of film translation, and finally it investigates the main techniques used in English-Chinese dubbing and subtitling.
