Contributor (compiler):Katharina Haude
Contributor (speaker):EAO
Coverage:Bolivia
Description:Length: 5:30 min In this text speaker the speaker describes how to create a field (chaco) for cultivating plants for yourself. First you have to pick a piece of forest at the bank of the river that is not owned by anyone yet. Then the site has to be mowed and the trees have to be choped down. After that the piece of land is to be left alone in order to dry out and once the field is dry it is set on fire and burned completely. Now the field is ready for sowing corn. The speaker goes on describing how to sow corn as well as other crops.
