Description:Immediately after returning from a hunt, the prey, in this case a wild hog, peccary or eroe in Aikanã (Tajassu pecari), is cleaned and processed and prepared in a variety of ways, boiled, fried or roasted for immediate consumption and smoked, or nowadays frozen for later use. Often the women do this work, while the hunter rests. Eroe is next to monkey one of the most common and preferred catch.
