Description:		Three of the more prestigious men in the Awetí community comment on a book which was written by the German anthropologist G. Hartmann. The book was published as a catalogue to an exposition about the Xingu and contains many photos and illustrations of items used in everyday culture by the Awetí. There are also illustrations of items not used any more which are remembered by the men.
