Description:The story of Tamapeva Tahutahu, a man from Ho'oumi (Nuku Hiva), is about a man and his precious chicken. One day Tamapeva Tahutahu has to go away and leaves it to his daughter to look after his chicken. When he returns, the chicken has gone and he discovers that it has been killed and eaten. This legend/story is sung with a so-called 'anaunau', a kind of invocation to the gods.
