| Speaker13 is a native speaker of Trumai. Both his parents were Trumai. He speaks Portuguese as well. He and his sister (Speaker12) are the last descendents of the 'Awaldat' group, a subdivision of the Trumai group that used to speak a different dialect of the language. However, this dialect seems to have disappeared. Speaker13 lives with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He works for the Brazilian Indigenous organization named FUNAI, and often he travels to do his work (he is a boat pilot). | ||
