Description:		In front of Nahu's house, before sunset, the researcher and her assistant (Mara Santos) record the old Nahu telling his life story, with the assistance of his son, Jakalu, his nephew, Mutuá, and one of the mais researcher kuikuro consultant (Jumu). The session was prepared carefully during the preceding days with the aim to prepare a document or written testimony on the work of Nahu as "captain" or "master of the whites" all along his life. The document would be used to ask retirement benefit for Nahu to brazilian social security. Kuikuro village at Ipatse, Upper Xingu.

		Nahu tells the story of his life from his birth in the old village of Kuhikugu to the work in the "fazendas", where he began to learn portuguese and the Whites "way of being"; to his role as mediator and interpreter during the the Roncador-Xingu expedition, organized by the Villas Boas brothers. Nahu tells about his marriage and the birth of his children.
		The performer uses kuikuro, some few words in portuguese and shows his knowledge of the Bakairi language (Carib) pronouncing some sentences.
