They wore large baskets over their heads so that if the eagle grabbed them it would only get the basket. The elders did a rite to kill and be rid of the eagle. It worked, and the village was free. The recording begins and ends with a bit of dialogue between GCG and TCR about the legend. TCR relates it as well a couple years later, and the two versions differ a bit.
