| Description: | This is the second part of a conversation between Mr Tariku Chifaw, Mr Woldeyohannes Apa and his son Mr Deggif Woldeyohannes. Deggif asks his father to tell the problems Mr Woldeyohannes faces in fulfilling his role as Kaati (king/chief) because local authorities and some people who have changed their religion and way of life try to undermine his authority. Then Mr Tariku continues the conversation explaining the law and how such conflicts are handled in other parts of the country. Then Tariku and Degefu invite Mr Woldeyohannes Apa to tell about the way children from a Kaati family are distinguished at birth as rightful heirs of their father and about their upbringing. They then discuss extensively about difficulties faced, especially as young (educated) people refuse to listen to elders and respect tradition.
