| Description: | Ku Rgyamtsho relates how a person danced with the witches at night. When it became light, he did not let go of their hands and the witches turned into embers. He then put them in a box and locked them up. Then Ku Rgyamtsho relates the story of Hare and Bear and how Hare makes Bear fall down a cliff. Then he relates the gruesome story of Hare as babysitter: how Hare kills the baby and makes the mother eat the flesh. | |
| This man had learned all the rituals as the assistant of a priest@ who since passed away. While priests rely on the scriptures which they read during rituals@ helpers should know the rituals by heart and rely on their memory@ since they are expected to hand the priest the correct paraphernalia at the correct times and conduct appropriate movements accompanying the rituals. Thus@ this helper could recite rituals from memory. | ||
