| Description: | Pita Vanbir tells the story of how Ahamb was settled. The legend goes that the first settlers to the small island were two brothers who were born from a giant clamshell in the ocean. Parts of this story are controversial (especially relating to who the ancestors of the first two settlers are) and there is considerable disagreement among Ahamb people regarding this story. This is a recording of Pita telling the story in the church in front of many Ahamb people. In the beginning of the story he makes it clear that he is not going to go into controversial details. There have been no comments by anyone present that Pita told any controversial facts in this recording, therefore it will be archived with open access.
