Description:		Before the wedding of John Tangis (residing in Port Vila), men from his extended family gathered daily to build a village house for him, his wife and two children, also to prepare for the wedding by building a large outdoor kitchen at Sapo Warput's house (next door), cutting wood for meals during this week and for the wedding, slaughtering animals for big cook ups to feed workers etc. One evening they decided to make kava and started preparing it (cutting and washing the roots) in the afternoon. It was finished and drunk late in the evening (full dark).
