Description:Jorge Bisa tells a traditional story about a powerful man who claimed to be able to come back to life after death. When he dies, an opossum convinces the widow that he is the dead man, and takes his place. Later, the dead husband does come back, and after punishing the opossum and his unfaithful wife, he takes his children away, but they all turn into birds and animals on the journey and the man ends up alone. The accompanying WAV file includes a Spanish-language translation by Jorge Bisa. This bundle includes an ELAN project (.eaf) file with baseline transcription, morpheme-by-morpheme glossing, and free translation in English. The information in this .eaf file is intended as a preliminary description of the data.
