| This project documents the Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) of speakers of eight Totonac varieties (Upper Necaxa Totonac, Zihuateutula Totonac, Cerro Xinolatépetl Totonac (a.k.a. Ozumatlán), Coahuitlán Totonac, Mecatlán Totonac, Atlequizayan Totonac, Zongozotla Totonac, and Ecatlán Totonac. Data collected include audio and video recordings of discussions of TEK and demonstrations of cultural practices, audio recordings of Totonac plant names accompanied by text transcriptions and (where available) botanical determinations, and high definition photographs of collected botanical specimens. | ||
