| Description: | The conversation with Mr Asmamaw Guch'alle continued. At this point we moved away from the new house to a smaller house in which he lived with his family temporarily. At the front side of the house there were a number of objects of interst such as material used in house construction, a special (pot-shape) granery called lií7e etc. Researcher (Azeb) and assistants (Abboye and Asmelash) asked about these. The meeting was not planned. Mr Asmamaw passed by the house of Mr. Ayyano Aro and invited us to visit his farm as well. Present during the recording were: researcher (Azeb), research assitants (Asmelash and Abboye), mr Asmamaw's wife and his three years old daughter. A friend of Asmamaw joined in half-way. The recording was done using Zoom 4Hn and a video recording was done simultaneously. Mid-way in the recording, wind affects the quality of recording. | |
