| Description: | This is the second session in a series of recordings made on April 1 2017 when Mr Arche Apa visited researcher (Azeb), host and interviewer (Mr Tariku Chifaw) in Dimalle in the house of Mr Tariku Chifaw. In the session Mr Tariku explains the purpose and goal of the project and asked Mr Woldesenbet to tell about his father the former kaati 'çhief/king' of Zargulla and about the ceremonies related to his appointment as kaati (chief) about 45 years ago and challenges to his authority because of current parallel administrative and religious leaders. The audio recording was made using Zoom 4Hn recorder. There is unfortunately a lot of background noise from a flour mill closeby but the conversation is audible. The session was also video-recorded. | |
