| Description: | This is the last and eleventh session in a series of recordings made on 1 April 2017 when Mr Arche Apa made a day-long visit to researcher (Azeb), host and interviewer (Mr Tariku Chifaw) in Dimalle in the house of Mr Tariku Chifaw. It is the second coffee break of the day and the five research assistants who have been working on transcription and elaboration of dictionary entries joined Mr Woldesenbet, Tariku, Degefu and Azeb in the house. The conversation focuses on recent land re-distribution actions initiated by the administration and problems related to this. There are parallel conversations and background noise as well as interruptions when a visitor joins and greets those who were present. The audio recording was made using Zoom 4Hn recorder. The session was also video-recorded. | |
