| The project documents oral texts on traditions and daily life in the Reef Islands, covering 8 villages and 73 speakers ranging in age from 15 to 93. The materials were recorded in September-October 2015. | ||
| The session shows a ceremonial gift exchange as part of the preparations for a wedding. After the bride price has been paid, the bride's family brings baskets of food to the groom's family, and there is a feast. The recording starts with an explanation from Luke Gitakulu concerning the presence of the researcher, followed by speeches made by both sides while the gifts exchanged are on display. The bride's side is on the left and the groom's side on the right. | ||
