Description:This is a conversation between neighbors and friends, Leksi (F, 31) and Neti (F, 39), at Neti's house. They are having a conversation while cooking pempek, a regional dish that is commonly cooked but not everyday. They are wearing separate Shure SM10A headset microphones each connected to separate Tascam 60D audio recorders. A Canon Vixia HFM500 camcorder with a Rode VideoMic Pro Camera-Mount shotgun microphone and Flip Video UltraHD camcorder were used to video record the entire speech situation. Several children come in and out of the conversation. These include: Regina, Leksi's 2 month old daughter who is present throughout the recording; Fariz, Neti's neighbor's (Iri) son, who approximately 3 years old at this time; Liah, Neti's oldest daughter; Piah, Neti's younger daughter, who comes in later on in the recording. .
