Eivo Central West Bougainville language [Papuan language] Side 1: Langalanga - Coastal language of N.Malaita Island, The Central Solomons [Austronesian language]. Misima - Language spoken on Misima Island, Milne Bay Province, PNG, and islands to the north, south and west of this Island [Austronesian language]. Kubokota language (Solomon Islands). Tuo - (see above); (Date given is approximate). Language as given: Langalanga, Misimi, Kubokota, Tuo, Telei, Eivo
Format:Digitised: yes Media: Grundig Tonband 3" No ID. Plastic spool. No tape lead-in. Good condition. Audio Notes: A) From AIATSIS archive copy tape A16594. Narrow bandwidth, analogue signal path & microphone distortion, and inconsistent levels on recording. Pitch variations - may have been fault in recorder or flat battery - notes by AIATSIS indicate, "Variations in speed on these two field tapes [104 & 105]. Speeds have been adjusted, but still probably not accurate." A2) From original field tape, 3 3/4ips, NAB eq, 1trk of 1/2trk. Levels vary - some analogue distortion.
