Pingku is a language that was created when several tribes whose languages are mutually unintelligible moved to a new area and formed a ‘common language’. The groups were Koqchung, Lumnu, Ronra (Rera), Raqsa and Shoqra. A Nong is of Koqchung origin but he does not now speak Koqchung.
