Description:		Recordings in this series involve discussion flowing from the Men's ancestral story, including about male initiations and the unpleasantness of being an initiate – all but one of those present had had to undergo this, including beating, sodomy and long immersion in cold water. Sound quality not good owing to knocking on platform the recording was made on. nqn20120831NEa-02-03 is a more structured telling, by Jimmy Nébni, about the initiation procedure, in Nen. Recorded late afternoon / early evening after walking from Bimadbn to Zeri, in preparation for taking boat to Daru the next day. A number of other men are present, but not listed here.
