It is worshipped with egg or chicken or pig whatever the householder promised. It is a mysterious king and believed that he disappeared, not died. It is believed that he is still living. So, the Budhohang is called living god. While worshipping the Budhohang, one calabash, one Tongba, one pair of Tupla, a tip of the banana leaf are needed.
