Description:		Short clip of the exchange of ndap shells. Yidika lent his Pimb:a to his uncle Tadpuwo, who used it to patch up a quarrel with his uncle Kpéévyuwo. Yidika got a típwídontoo as ngm:aa or security. In addition Tadpuwo passed on to Yidika that tangwolontoo he got from Kpéévyuwo. Now the pimb:a comes back after about a week, brought by his other uncle Mwolâ. Pikuwa (acting for Yidika) gives the tangwolontoo back to Mwolâ, and Mwolâ gives him a half big shell as kââpee (profit as it were for good) and ten shells to be distributed by Yidika (to nephews of Tadpuwo or clan members). Mwolâ then gives back the pimb:a to Pikuwa, together with another kââpee and another 10 shells. Pikuwa gives the ngm:aa back in return. Finally Yidika takes one of the 10 shells that were also being given to Kpéévyuwo, as fellow clan member?

		Yélî Dnye is a "Papuan" language, i.e. non-Austronesian. It is an isolate - not known to be related to any other language. It is spoken only on Rossel Island.
