This session is part of a corpus of documentation project of "Documentation and Grammatical Description of Opuuo" supported by endangered languages documentation project (ELDP)
The participants discribed and demonstratted the dance and poem with the procedures of forming wedding. I the early days when we talk to get a marrage you will ask for her families. If they are willing you will pay something. Now it is changing and the you will go and sk the lady and give the money to her family if she is willig. During the weeding a day all familly members will collect together and will got o the lady's familly and the animal will be slauted. In the early change it was exchangig. Now marrage is through money. The equipment from the husband will be given to her familly. then there will be paryers. Her husband will be expected to harvest my field if not I may take back my kid. The woman in the speech who joined late tells, "I will call my kid and talk about her marrage with my husband. If her husband is not agreed and married she may not give birth. I need a ceremony if there is not cermony I may not marry."
