Description:Norman Galapin, Linda Lambprecht, and Hilda Lopez tell students about downtown Honolulu in the past, especially Hotel street in Chinatown. They talk about how the street got its name because of the many brothels when there was a larger military presence, providing signs for different groups. They also discuss how everything has gone up in price over time, and how cheap bread and soda were when they were growing up, and whether white or wheat bread is better, and whether or not it will kill birds if you feed them bread. They ask the students at what age they learned to ride a bicycle, and talk about their own experiences learning to ride. Finally, they talk about at what ages they started driving, and discuss signs for different makes and models of cars and what kinds of pets they like.
