Description:		In the past, people did not know that sugarcane was sweet. They would use lengths of sugarcane to climb trees to pick the fruit. One day they went to pick canarium nuts. They cut some sugarcane and used it to climb the canarium tree. When the last man was climbing up, some sugarcane juice dripped into his mouth and he realised it was sweet. He climbed up and told the other men. They began pulling up the sugarcane, breaking off pieces, and chewing it. Then they realised that they didn't have a way to get down again. They tried to get down by holding on to each other, but the last man lost his grip. All the men below him fell down and were killed. He landed on top of them and survived. He told the other people that the men had died, and that the sugarcane was sweet.
