Description:uepeker:Story about how the grapevines ward off the topattumi-night raiders. The main character was raised by his grandmother, and was always eating grapes. One day, a small basket made of grapevines dropped from the hook over the fire, and leapt to the seat of honor. The grandmother made six rings of grapevines and hung them around the house. When the topattumi came, they were all killed by the grapevine rings. Characters: Young girl from Midstream Ishikari , father's brother from Upstream Ishikari, topattumi-night raiders from Upstream Kushiro.
