| Description: | George Mung-mung talking about the paintings that were used in a performance of the Moonga-moonga dreamed by his wife Buttercup. Most of the performance and song was also on the video and digitised. The son of George Mung-mung and Buttercup and other Warmun community members were given copies of the DVD made and are all very happy as well as sad to see it. Patrick Mung watched it several times at the Warmun Art Centre in tears.Copy of copy was made by FK from a copy owned by Patrick McConvell during the late 1980s. When I digitised it I sent a copy of the DVD to PMcC and asked who made it and if we could get a better copy. He replied "The film was made by a young Aboriginal video trainee who visited (Warrmarn). I can't remember his name exactly but R.E. Rigby is written on the box of my VHS copy. I have written to Kim McKenzie the film-maker at ANU who I think was in charge of his training." Digitised from VHS copy of VHS copy using Canopus AV/DV Bridge Sound file .wav and .MPEG-4 exported with iMovie. Edited .wav file replaces two files 1986-GM-B-Moonga-Moonga.wav and 1986-B-Moonga-moonga.wav to correspond exactly with .m4v | |
