Description:A man (yafafini- collected by huangana) goes to the forest to hunt huangana. he is upset that his family had lied to him and not given him any huangana to eat even though they had killed many that day. He finds the huangana and attempts to kill them but none of his arrows penetrate them. He goes to sleep in a hide he makes in the forest and later that day he is surrounded by the huangana who he attempted to kill. They recognise him but instead of killing him they capture him and he is given to the two single daughters of the huangana chief. They gave him leaves mashed up in water to put in his eyes so he would forget he was a person. He became the chief of the hunagana and was called yafaroapa but one day when he was near the village of his former relatives his children recognised his voice callíng and they managed to capture him with a rope, he was like a person still but all bent over like a huangana. They cried and hugged him and blew tobacco on him to take away his idea that he was a huangana. He lived amongst the people again but no longer ate huangana, the huangana though were attracted to the people because of his presence and when his people killed them he was able to recognise his relatives including his children. One day he couldn't resist any longer and ate huangana. He raved and soon died. Once he died the sky cracked and made huge noises and the huangana once again came in huge numbers and were killed by the people.
