Description:Chiefs Black Coal and Washakie had a role in getting schools founded on the reservation. The transcription is based on a recording of Charles (Chuck) Gambler made by Lisa Conathan on 08 November 2004 at his home on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. His wife Dorothy Gambler was also present. The recording was made on a Sony Recording MD Walkman MZ-R700 with a Sony ECM-MS957 microphone. Recording quality is good.
