Title:Tankai turns up to tell stories
Documentation of Koryak Ethnopoetics: Stories from Speakers of Non-standard Varieties of Koryak and Nymylan Koryak
Contributor:Vladimir Tankai
Valentina Dedyk
Alexander King
Coverage:Russian Federation
Description:Volodya tells several stories and remembrances from his life herding deer and other adventures. He tells one shortish myth. Three original files are combined into one. The first pause was the phone or something. The second pause was caused by the batteries dying. Several times the phone rang, and I (depositor) pushed the pause button to suspend recording without creating a new file. This is clear from the phone ringing in the background. Later Tankai told us that he was 'под мухамором'(pod mykhamorom), under the influence of fly agaric, when he came to talk to us.
