Description:The video demonstrates the assembly of a traditional Koryak/Chukchi skin tent, called dzadzanga in Srednie Pakhachi or more commonly, yaranga in Russian (following Chukchi phonology). It is yayanga in standard Koryak. Some Koryak words for various parts of the tent can be heard. Tatiana's elderly mother will live in the tent during the summer until hard freezes in late September or so. The two little girls are Maya, Tanya and Volodya's youngest child, and Yulia, their oldest grandchild, daughter of Oksana.
