| Description: | A structured elicitation session in which Charlotte and Florance use the translation tasks on p.206 of the Questionnaire on Information Structure (QUIS) Manual (Skopeteas et al 2006) to discuss the role of information structure in word order choice in Kelabit. This recording includes translations for the intransitive sentence ('The child is laughing') and transitive sentence ('The woman is drinking water') in different focus contexts using question/answer pairs and contrast. The following equipment was used: Zoom H4N, Stereo Mic, wind gag. The recording is in stereo and wav format. | |
