Description:Though not as prominent as was in the past, the Nkami people still use drums as a means/form of communication. The video recording captures Uncle Yeboah and Manu play two distinct talking drums while Okyeame Anokye and Madam Nsoromoah explain their meanings, significance, when/how they are played, who can play them, among others. It also contains a libation performance. The recording has been transcribed in elan. It has not been translated into Akan and English yet.
