Description:There is a superstitious practice in Nkami whereby a type of yam called nkamfʊɔ is grown at the boundary of yam farms, with the belief of helping protect them from evil persons who try to destroy them. The video captures a chat between Ketewa and Akuamoah where in a yam farm, where the latter provides explanation for the practice. The elan file contains (raw) transcription of Nkami's recording and Akan translation. It has not been translated into English yet.
