Description:The speaker Zoya Mazhina reads aloud the printed version of Teleut fairy tale "Oskus-uul" ("Orphan boy"), translated by Mikhail Tokmashev. Being a brilliant and extremely fluent speaker of Teleut, she is having difficulties reading the printed text aloud, since she (or hardly any other speaker) isn't accustomed to seeing written cyrillic Teleut texts. This is a typical sociolinguistic issue with the languages without well-established writing traditions.
