Description:This song is an exchange between Lhama and Lhumo on the one hand, and their mother on the other. The mother – Ama – is leaving the field where the dance is performed, and the girls will not let her go. She gives her daughters a series of presents: a bow, an arrow, a spear, a knife, and finally a herb that induces itching, all to force the girls to spare her. Please see accompanying Field Notes.
