Description:This song comes from the Torgya Dungyur, a triennial special celebration of the Thorgya. The Apa performs the the Gyepu part and the two Mlengchung perform the Gyemu. The song has the King describe a pilgrimage (nyekor) he wishes to take in Tibet and its many hardships while the Queen tries to persuade him against it, or that he take her along. Originally from Tawang, he was the custodian of the monastery at the time of recording.
