Description:Mila Lasam, a non-native speaker of Alta, but married to a native, describes the languages that her sons and grandsons can speak. For example, the ones that are not able to speak the Alta language are able to understand some basic commands or instruction she might give them. She states that she is a native speaker of Ilokano but, she was able to learn most of the Alta language. Mila is original from Bongabon town where Ilokano is spoken, and states that there are also Alta there. She goes by saying that they prefer to live in the cost given that resources there are much more accessible than in Diteki, as there is plenty of fish in the sea and they have more space to plant in that area. Their farm is located nearby the tribal hall, where we were film and Mila accepts to show us the farm once we have finish filming.
