The birth date of Ms Li Xingzhi is not provided. Ms Li Xingzhi is a Caijia native speaker and learnt the language from her parents. However, there are no Caijia monolingual speakers. All of the Caijia speakers speaker the local Southwestern Mandarin dialect. Therefore, Southwestern Mandarin is also the mother tongue or primary language for all the Caijia speakers. | ||
Mr Li Kaiju is a Caijia native speaker and learnt the language from her parents since he was born, but Caijia is less practiced then. Southwestern Mandarin is his primary language. He can only provide some basic lexicon and sentences and helped with the IPA transcription. | ||
