This folkstory is about two brothers who divide their family property. The elder brother is greedy and bad-hearted, while the younger brother is hard-working and honest. The younger brother is lucky and ends up well but the greedy brother ends up bad. | ||

The birth date of Ms Li Xingzhi is not provided. Ms Li Xingzhi is a Caijia native speaker and learnt the language from her parents. However, there are no Caijia monolingual speakers. All of the Caijia speakers speaker the local Southwestern Mandarin dialect. Therefore, Southwestern Mandarin is also the mother tongue or primary language for all the Caijia speakers. | ||
