Description:Matumi tells how Baa came with the Bachama people from Sokoto but seperated from them. How Baa climbed the hill in Gyakan. There one elder climbed the top and saw the land of Kwah. The Fulani then came to fight war with Baa who found their refuge on the mountain top, Kwotah. By hiding in caves and throwing stones and spears on the Fulani, whose horses could not climb the steep hill, Baa won the war. The ELAN file currently includes the first minute of phonetic transcription and free translation in English. For further descriptions of file names and tier names see the corpus manual.
