Description:Aminsun shares about the different gods in the Baa land and he is begging the young to return to the ways of their forefathers. He then continues by telling about how people nowadays no longer farm their land but sell it for others. He mentions briefly the traditions around the guinea corn festival, Vigat nyaman. He sings five songs that his grandfather taught him, 1) about Kasimin who drove the Fulani away when they came to fight Baa people, 2) a song normally sung by the Nyaso group. Song 3 - 5 are songs based on different proverbs. The songs are still to be analysed and translated. The ELAN file includes an orthographic transcription and free translation except for the songs and some parts where several people are talking at the same time. For further descriptions of file names and tier names see the corpus manual available in the archive.
