Description:		The recording is an oral history/life story interview including memories related to everyday life in Žejane. Topics include: schooling in Žejane; memories of her grandfather living in the United States; picking raspberries; village casualties during World War II in Vele Mune and Žejane, including the burning of the village, imprisonment, and internment of the villagers; life as a refugee; buying a sheep for a wedding; thoughts about the Zheyanski language. The recording and transcript are in the Zheyanski dialect. A Croatian translation of the transcript is provided.
